Job Role and Responsibilities:

Systems/Solutions Architect role focused on providing technical guidance, driving architecture/design/development, producing key deliverables (including technical documentation), and executing design/code reviews of the next generation of the Connected Health Services Platform. This role requires working closely with a globally distribute development team in a key technical role. In addition, this person will have a short-term focus on the design and development of a Web Based Application which integrates with the Connected Health Services Platform. This individual will be a part of a growing Digital Solutions team within the Global Research and Development organization.
  • Participates in the evaluation and selection process for new Enterprise Service solutions
  • Works with Enterprise Service Architecture lead to define Enterprise Service roadmaps and expansion of existing enterprise service.
  • Creates the global governance process for managing all GDS Cloud Based Infrastructure
  • Leads a small team of DevOps Engineers to implement all monitoring, alerting, auditing, and notification strategies for GDS Cloud Base Infrastructure
  • Works with both internal and external software development teams during project execution to capture requirements and provide advisement regarding the use of Enterprise Services
  • Works within globally distributed, multi-cultural cross functional teams
  • Authors and controls all implementation and integration documentation for Enterprise Services
  • Defines and documents Enterprise Services roadmaps
  • Leads and Responsible for Transitioning Enterprise Services and DevOps strategies from Non-Production to Production environments
  • Assists with various projects as assigned by a direct supervisor

Professional Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in an Integration Lead or DevOps Lead role
  • Experience in a regulated industry preferred
  • Technical leadership experience is required with 2+ years preferred
  • Enteprise System Integration
  • Cloud Architectures
  • Experience in the HealthTech or Medical Device industry highly preferred
  • Experience developing and maintaining connected solutions (examples: telemedicine, telehealth, medication adherence, personal emergency response services, home alarm systems) a plus
  • Part of a globally distributed, culturally diverse, cross functional team
  • Operates in a role with minimal oversight and micro-management
  • Excellent technical aptitude with the ability to think independently
  • Strong analytical skills and detailed oriented
  • Well-developed visionary thinking / out of the box thinking
  • Experience in Agile development processes and methodologies
  • Collaborative with a strong desire to partner with others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
