Job Description

As the Enterprise Systems Administrator you will:
  • Provide escalation support to Spire IT personnel for enterprise system infrastructure and configurations.
  • Provide Acquisition diligence and integration plans for new acquired partners and networks.
  • Oversees all aspects of the Spire Enterprise on-premises and cloud technologies, including 3rd party services, networks, servers, storage, databases, security, Office365 and Azure.
  • Lead the deployment of new cloud implementations across hybrid environments, including Azure, AWS, VMware, and Office 365.
  • Responsible for evaluating new solutions, including emerging cloud solutions, and developing the supporting elements required to incorporate new technical capabilities in a safe and secure manner
  • Stays current with technological developments related to IT infrastructure, security, operations, and cloud services, as well as their management practices.
  • Promotes the use of technology, enabling the workforce to utilize new technologies in support of the strategic business plan.
  • Leads technology improvement projects, coordinates technology management in support of new systems and ensures smooth upgrades of existing systems.
  • Leads the design, specification, configuration, installation and maintenance of systems/storage/security/network hardware, software, telecommunication services and internet providers for on premise and cloud solutions.
  • Facilitates communication between management, staff, and practice management to ensure an effective approach to the implementation of IT solutions.
  • Research and recommend purchases and negotiate with vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
  • Monitor system health/availability. Produces and maintains highly available services to meet the organization’s growing demands.
  • Ensuring the strategy and technology roadmaps are in place and reviewed regularly.
  • Actively participates in Disaster Recovery helping direct the development and execution of an Enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Performs other related job duties, as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
  • 5-7 years' minimum experience as a Windows 2012/2016/2019 and Azure/Active Directory services administrator.
  • Hands-on experience in supporting Microsoft Windows 2012/2016/2019, Active Directory, ADFS, MS PKI, DFS, and GPO validation and design.
  • Complete command over Group policy management, troubleshooting and management.
  • Understanding of the inner working of Active Directory and its components.
  • Firewall Administration, cisco and or SonicWALL
  • Switching experience and design.
  • Hands on Experience with Azure Cloud Services and operations
  • Skilled in designing access control strategies using Azure AD Conditional Access.
  • Experience in developing and supporting system management automation tools to deploy, configure and monitor servers and services.
  • Experience in developing, documenting, and enforcing the standards, security procedures, and controls for access to ensure integrity of the Windows Systems, Active Directory, and related systems.
  • Thorough understanding of monitoring best practices for Active Directory and related services.
  • Ability to translate technical issues into understandable business language for end users and other technical support personnel.
  • Must possess excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Ability to solve complex admin tasks using PowerShell.

What You’ll Need
  • Minimum of 3-5 years hands-on experience supporting network, systems, storage, security, and cloud infrastructure required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years hands on VMware/virtualization administration and support. Preferably in a Hyper-Converged Environment.
  • A good understanding of cloud services, network and server infrastructure, high-availability solutions and root cause analysis required.
  • Proficient in the provisioning and maintenance of Microsoft centric systems and services required.
  • Experience with Azure resource management and Cloud solutions required.
  • Preferred Certifications: Azure Technical Certifications, ITIL (v3 or 4), CCNA (R/S), CCNP, MCSA, MCSE

Travel Required
  • Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel between sites and practices for projects, service and maintenance.
