Position: Financial Applications Analyst Location: Cambridge, MA Job Type: Direct Hire
Job Duties:
Work closely with operational counterparts to provide day-to-day support of the Meditech GL, AP and MM modules while reporting directly to the Sr. Director of I.T. Applications.
Serve as Lead technical analyst providing build and access support in Meditech including regular priority packs and vendor updates. Provide historical Meditech technical knowledge to assist in decision-making and future state designs. Identify and implement process improvement initiatives as discovered. Create and maintain technical and training documentation for both internal IT resources and operational staff.
Support all Meditech integrations including the Item Master Integration to Epic Optime and implant/supply scanning. Maintain and support electronic data transmission of 850, 855, 856 and 810 through our Meditech and Datatrans software systems.Maintain file transfers to third party vendors including electronic payment files to and from financial institutions.
Provide support for third party software and hardware including Solarity scanning, Materials Management Hand Held Terminals, and Accounts Payable Scanners. Assist various departments with Meditech data cleanups via scripting utilizing Boston Workstation
Participate in an on call rotation after 6 months
Qualifications:
3+ years supporting Meditech Client Server MM/AP/GL
Strong time management and written/verbal communication skills
Proven ability to meet deadlines
Certification in Meditech AP, GL, MM, and NPR preferred
Bachelor' s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance or equivalent work experience.
