Job Description
Position: IDBS consultant
Location: Remote
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 6 months
Job Description:
The contract position will support the IDBS Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) systems, both research and regulated instances.
- This person will do systems administration and troubleshooting of existing templates and integrations.
- Understand business processes, process and document system and configuration changes, provide end user support and support for system upgrades and migration.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot incidents and problems reported by scientists.
- Troubleshoot configured LIMS System and Instrument integrations
- Provide back-end server support for both Windows and Linux systems
- Provide end-user support related to system configuration.
Requirements:
- Must have strong Application Administration or Analyst experience working with IDBS 10.1 and newer in both client/server and web-enabled versions
- Must have strong communication skills and feel comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people.
- Must have understanding of the validation process and GxP regulations
Preferred:
- Degree or higher level education in chemistry, biology, bioinformatics, information technology or similar discipline.
- Pharmaceutical or biotech experience, e.g., experience working in a laboratory or biological environment (for Research only).
Notes:
- Prefer training to occur onsite.
- Remote work is an option for a motivated candidate
- Length of contract 9 – 12 months.
