Required Skill Sets: 5-7 years  PM experience, PMP nice to have. Prior design agency experience preferred. Health or financial industry experience a plus.



As Project Manager, your main responsibility will be to guide the project team in creating the highest quality deliverables, thereby exceeding clients’ expectations. You will ensure the mission is understood as the project transitions from phase to phase, the team has adequate time and information, appropriate questions are asked, suitable resources are assigned, and the project is QA’ d effectively and delivered according to schedule. You will be the organzation’ s face to the client directing meetings, participating in internal brainstorming and review sessions, and client presentations. You will maintain a positive relationship with our clients, managing the project to ensure client satisfaction, while also pushing back where necessary; in order to ensure delivery is within scope, on time, and within budget.


  • Working with the project team to identify strategies and solutions to meet client needs
  • Collaborating with the sales team to scope potential projects
  • Participating in project activities to ensure relevancy, strategy, quality and timelines
  • Communicating project status, progress and concerns
  • Creating project plans, deadlines and changes
  • Monitor resource requirements, including coordinating with Contractors
  • Manage project budget


  • Strong listening and workplace communication skills
  • Ability to deliver clear and consistent communication to clients and project teams
  • High standard of attention to detail
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritize work
  • Experience as an Interactive Project Manager within an agency environment
  • Experience managing digital projects
  • Demonstration of an agile mindset to embrace, and successfully handle fluid landscapes
  • Be willing to travel for client meetings




  • Create Basecamp project (as needed)
  • Document first formal version of formal project plan based on design/tech input
  • Schedule client kickoff


  • Update project plan to reflect changes (weekly); maintain version history
  • Schedule external client status meetings
  • Update weekly client status report
    • Should include list of accomplishments, and next steps
  • Lead external status meeting with client
    • Use weekly project update meetings for buttoned up updates, schedule separate meetings for collaboration or problem solving
  • Establish and run internal status or scrum
    • Communicate where we are, what lies ahead, and issues to be resolved
  • Schedule key reviews (internal and external) of Design/Tech deliverables
    • Ensure teams are reviewing work with others
  • Communicate job progress and % complete with Operations (weekly)
  • Update future resourcing requirements in 10, 000ft in coordination with Resourcing (weekly)
  • Notify team members of available time budget for week and project overall (weekly)
  • Communicate evolving resource changes and shifts
  • Handle logistics for all meetings
    • Ensure we have projection equipment, web-conferencing, print-outs, directions, etc.
  • Track and monitor progress of completion of client deliverables
  • Review work to ensure we are meeting our obligations
  • Deliver final product(s) to client for approval via Basecamp or Extranet
    • Or ensure that individual contributors have posted in timely and consistent manner
  • Monitor scope and communicate status
  • Prioritize project work within the team
  • Coordinate project work with contractors
  • Manage overall workflow of individual projects
  • Document client changes and requests


  • Create/review project health report to monitor burn rate leveraging 10, 000ft data (weekly)
  • Manage expenses budget
  • Know invoicing schedule from SOW and communicate invoicing triggers to Finance
  • Review contractor hours weekly for approval


  • Client communication regarding individual projects


  • Generate final project health report
  • Fill out project wrap up form
