Required Skill Sets:
As a Recruiting Consultant, you will have responsibility for full life cycle recruitment including partnering with hiring managers in our Group business to define talent needs, in-depth talent sourcing including leveraging multiple recruiting sources, social media and internet sourcing techniques to proactively source active and passive candidates, effectively screening talent, and ensuring a smooth on-boarding process.
*Partner with hiring managers to define their talent needs and job requirements in order to ensure internal and external job descriptions and postings are on target to attract highly qualified candidates
*Build and maintain effective relationships with the HR Community, including peers on the Recruiting Team
*Build rapport with prospects and candidates to identify their key motivations and requirements to make a career move
*Collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, and senior management to develop and execute sourcing plans. Provides hiring managers with a service-level agreement establishing clear expectations and understanding of items such as position requirements, sourcing methods, and cost and task owners.
*Implement creative and innovative sourcing methodologies to solve problems and deliver out of the box solutions
*Leverage all existing sourcing tools and resources to drive active and passive candidates to current open requisitions
*Develop and maintain a viable pipeline of diverse talent. Leverage multiple recruiting resources and internet sourcing techniques to identify and engage active and passive candidates, including databases, search engines, job boards/aggregators, social media, professional organizations, and community associations.
*Support diversity and inclusion recruitment strategies to ensure a diverse talent pipeline
*Serve as a subject matter expert in the area of talent attraction
*Screen and assess candidates against specific selection criteria
*Manage the interview process to include: individual interviews and group interview events, ensure that the hiring team is properly prepared and candidates are thoroughly evaluated and have a positive experience
*Contribute to Recruitment Team initiatives including consistently exploring new and innovative approaches that improve Lincolns employment brand, client service delivery, and quality of hire
*Effectively promote Lincoln Financial Group brand across numerous markets and professional communities
*Undergraduate degree or 4+ years of comparable work experience.
*3-5 years of progressive experience in full-cycle corporate and/or search firm recruiting environment that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position.
*Experience pipelining and recruiting non-exempt roles
*Experience in a high volume recruiting environment preferred
*Knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting including, but not limited to, successfully sourcing a diverse range of talent, qualifying, interviewing, networking, assessing, salary negotiation, relationship management, and due diligence.
*Strong organizational, time management, and process management skills necessary to maintain high-volume workload.
*A demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding performance expectations.
*Possesses a bias for action and avoids workplace distraction.
*Drives performance targets to completion
