Job Description

Looking for an energetic Salesforce.com Developer to support the technical needs of the organization’ s Salesforce.com platform.   You’ ll have an opportunity to implement new and exciting technologies and have a chance to make an impact to both the organization and to the patients that we serve. You’ ll interact closely and directly with our business partners to help them solve their critical business problems.   These business partners include our Sales, Marketing, Field Medical, Government Affairs, and Patient Services teams amongst others.   The role will work within a team of Salesforce.com administrators and business analysts to deliver innovative solutions to our business partners.   The role’ s responsibilities will include the following and may take on additional responsibilities as needed:

 
  • Develop technical solutions aligned with business objectives;   Lead technical design sessions; identify gaps between current and desired end states
  • Lead and mentor team of SFDC/Lightning and Mobile developers
  • Collaborate with internal business and IT stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and set and manage expectations
  • Translate business requirements into well architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform
  • Provide oversight and governance of Salesforce projects
  • Follow and help define coding standards. Lead code reviews during projects to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns are followed
  • Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of Salesforce efforts

 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar technical degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • 5+ years programmatic development experience, the majority specifically with Salesforce
  • Expert level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, particularly Sales and Service Clouds

 

Desired Skills:
  • Expert SFDC development skills including  APEX, Lightning  (HTML, JavaScript, CSS), REST/SOAP API, Test Classes
  • Experience with JavaScript libraries including JQuery, Angular, and React.
  • Knowledge of SOQL and SOSL
  • Experience with Java/J2EE and Mobile platform development a plus
  • Very strong communication skills (both written and verbal).  Exhibit an ability to effectively work with both technical and non-technical resources and communicate complex topics clearly and concisely        
  • Certified Platform Developer I
  • Certified Platform Developer II a plus
  • Familiarity with platform authentication (SAML, SSO, OAuth)
  • Understanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions
  • Understanding of key design concepts and best practices
  • Understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations and how these play into platform architecture
  • Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems.  Including:
    • ETL (Informatica)
    • Marketing automation (Marketo)
    • Business Intelligence (Microstrategy)
    • CTI (NewVoiceMedia)
  • Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies
  • Experience with platform security capabilities (TLS, SSL)
