Position: Sr. Data Analyst Location: Remote Job Type: Direct Hire
Job Description The Senior Data Analyst must have a demonstrated track record of manipulating and analyzing data as well as being able to understand, visualize and discuss marketing implications. Possessing a curiosity to leverage data to solve business problems and develop solutions is a critical attribute for an individual in this role.
Responsibilities:
Perform data engineering on large datasets using advanced SQL
Create and maintain advanced dashboards using Tableau Desktop
Design, develop and produce output reports based on project requirements
Develop and implement comprehensive tools and strategies that leverage large amounts of data for developing business insights
Analyze and interpret data and historical trends to find actionable insights to inform strategies
Present insights and strategies to stakeholders
Define reporting, modeling and analysis requirements in collaboration with stakeholder groups
Work collaboratively with different stakeholder groups to develop new products and features for client's analytic offerings
Required Skills/Abilities:
Outstanding marketing and analytic abilities required.
Outstanding relationship building and communication skills required.
Proven experience managing multiple relationships, programs and support staff at various skill levels.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Required Experience & Skills:
3-5 years of experience working in direct marketing or CRM (nonprofit preferred)
Proven ability to manipulate and analyze data from large databases using advanced SQL
Demonstrated quantitative, analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proven end-to-end dashboard development experience using SQL and Tableau Desktop
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
Ability to analyze data, understand implications and make strategic recommendations
Ability to convey complex requirements and analytic processes to marketing staff
Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment coordinating multiple projects with tight deadlines
Superior attention to detail and quality control skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Bachelor’s or advanced degree
Required Experience & Skills:
Understand the data, reporting and fundraising metrics used by non-profit organizations to drive program performance
Experience using donor relationship management systems (i.e. Salesforce, ROI, Blackbaud) or the data outputs from these systems
Project management
Knowledge of digital marketing programs and technologies
Experience integrating third-party APIs
Experience building or executing predictive model
