Responsibilities:
- The Applications Administrator Senior acts as the liaison between super users, analysts, technical support and vendor partners.
- They communicate problems, issues, requests, and recommendations as needed.
- The Applications Administrator is responsible for monitoring solutions for efficiency, disk space usage, errors and will work closely with other technical teams to ensure solutions are running as expected.
- The person in this position will maintain the overall solution with a focus on system security and data integrity, manage user profiles and system access.
- The person in this position will maintain extensive knowledge of one or more solution environments, product lines, directory structures and web infrastructure and will be expected to lead any implementations involving new environments, modules, patches and upgrades.
- Engages IS Senior Leadership in developing and creating IS strategies.
- Independently and proactively brings forward new and innovative solutions for complex business challenges.
- Understands implications (and trade-offs) of reliability, scalability, operational costs, ease of adoption by organization, recruiting, etc. Mentors team members and system analysts. Knowledge base extends beyond core solution.
